SPLIT
When a young actress, working as a stripper, and struggling to claim
her dark side and her sexuality, becomes obsessed with a mask maker,
she sacrifices parts of herself and her life, piece by piece, in order
to win his love. At the same time she enters a mythic journey in the
theater that blurs her performance, her dreams and her real life and
results in a provocative and powerful confrontation that frees them
both.

LONELY HUNTER
The story of 1940's Southern gothic writer Carson McCullers and her
two tumultuous marriages to the same man, “”Lonely Hunter” will span
35 years in McCuller’s life and feature notable figures including her
best friend Tennessee Williams, her protégé Truman Capote, her
roommate Gypsy Rose Lee and collaborator Ethel Waters. McCullers was a
wild woman who transgressed gender laws and the color bar searching to
understand her own mysterious passions.
